Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that on the auspicious occasion of the Vikram Samvat Chaitra Pratipada New Year, he warmly welcomes all guests from across the countries who have gathered in the sacred city of Avantika for the Oath Ceremony Festival. He emphasized that Lord Mahavir Swami undertook penance in Ujjain, and when the path of penance is righteous, an oath leads to success. Since human life is brief, it is essential to dedicate the available time to selfless service and the welfare of all living beings. By engaging in benevolent acts, an individual attains greatness.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav participated in the Jain community’s Oath Ceremony Festival in Ujjain. He highlighted that his government is integrating cultural values with development initiatives. As part of this approach, a liquor ban will be enforced in Ujjain and other religious cities of the state starting April 1.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the program by lighting a ceremonial lamp. During the event, the organizers honored Dr. Yadav for bringing pride to Ujjain at both the state and national levels. The program was attended by Member of Parliament Anil Firojiya, MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Devendra Kashal, Ashwin Koshliwal, Sachin Kasliwal, and other representatives of the Jain community.
