In a daily weather report here, it said that the well-marked low-pressure areas is likely to move further west-north-westwards towards north Andhra Pradesh and adjoining south Odisha coasts, intensify into a depression over Westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal during the next 36 hours. The southwest monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema. Under its influence, heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 48 hours. Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on September one and two. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and strong surface winds with speed ranging from 30-40 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema during the next four days. Strong surface winds with speed ranging from 30- 40 Kmph is likely to prevail at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on September 3. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places or many places or at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
