Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Dec 3 (Reporter) The well-marked low-pressure area over Coastal Karnataka and adjoining east central Arabian sea persists over the same region at 0830 hours on Tuesday.
The associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid tropospheric levels. It is likely to move west-northwestwards over east-central Arabian sea during the next 2 days, Meteorological Centre said.
In a daily weather report here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at a few places or at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
Heavy Rain occurred at Seetharamapuram (SPSR Nellore Dt) in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at Palasamudram ( Chittoor Dt), Pakala (Tirupati Dt) in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
