Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that in democracy, the public is the biggest strength of the government. We are moving forward towards the all-round development of the state by taking the public along. Suggestions were invited from the people of the state by involving them in the budget-making process for the financial year 2025-26. All major festivals in the state have begun to be celebrated with the participation of the people of the state. Now public participation has also been prioritized in the state level Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan which started from March 30. To overcome the water crisis and collect rain water as much as possible, a state-wide “Jal Ganga Samvardhan” campaign has been launched from March 30. This campaign will continue till June 30.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state-level “Jal Ganga Samvardhan” campaign was launched from the banks of Kshipra river in Ujjain, the city of Mahakal. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Dr. Arjunram Meghwal also participated in it. Chief Minister Yadav said that the “Jal Ganga Samvardhan” mega campaign to save every drop of rain water in the state will continue for more than 90 days in the summer season till June 30. During this period, small and big water structures will be built and dedicated every day. This water conservation campaign will boost the groundwater level of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has called upon the citizens to save every drop of water to save the life and existence of not only humanity but the entire nature. He said that the state government is committed to the protection of people, water, forest, land and wild animals.
