Hyderabad, Mar 13 (Reporter) A heated exchange took place between Congress and BRS leaders at the Assembly media point, with both sides engaging in a verbal duel over Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's stature. Congress leaders expressed outrage over BRS leaders' alleged derogatory remarks about the Chief Minister, warning that they would not tolerate disrespect towards him. Government Whip Adi Srinivas criticised BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) for his remarks about Revanth Reddy. "Is there any position greater than that of the Chief Minister? KTR may be your leader, but the CM is like an elder brother to the state," Srinivas said. He accused the KCR family of corruption and claimed their misdeeds had led to their downfall in the recent elections. "Harish Rao, control your words. The people of Telangana have brought Revanth Reddy and the Congress to power because they rejected your leadership. Revanth Reddy is working tirelessly for 18 hours a day. From now on, BRS leaders must choose their words carefully," Srinivas warned. Government Whip Beerla Ailaiah accused BRS MLA Harish Rao of disrespecting the Chief Minister’s position. He alleged that Harish Rao attempted to block the Governor's speech and criticised the BRS for undermining democratic values. "Those who couldn't even field an MLC candidate are now disrespecting the Chief Minister," Ailaiah said. He warned that Harish Rao's actions would result in political backlash. "Be careful, Harish Rao. The days are ahead when you will be chased out of villages," he added. BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy stirred controversy by calling Revanth Reddy "the president of mad dogs." He accused the Congress government of failing to support farmers and claimed that their negligence was causing crop failures. Kaushik Reddy blamed the government for not delivering schemes like Rythu Bandhu and accused Congress leaders of being more focused on attacking KCR than solving farmers' issues. Former minister Gangula Kamalakar demanded that Revanth Reddy apologise for derogatory words against KCR. "Revanth should remember that KCR is the one who brought Telangana into existence. If he thinks he is the CM of Telangana, he must apologise to KCR and the people of Telangana," Kamalakar asserted...////...
