Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan said that in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024, one crore 77 lakh 52 thousand 583 voters will vote in nine parliamentary constituencies. Voter information slips with QR codes have been distributed to all voters. The voter information slip containing QR code will provide other important information like name of their polling station, address, number, voter number in the electoral roll, helpline number of the state and district to the voters. Shri Rajan said that if a voter does not have a voter information slip and his name is registered in the voter list, then the voter will be able to cast his vote by showing any one of the 13 alternative documents containing photo.
