Patna, Jan 07 (Reporter) Senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Tuesday alleged that there was virtually no government in Bihar as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not in a position to make a decision on his own.
Yadav, also the leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly, told media persons that there was no government worth name in the state. Chief Minister Kumar was made captive by select JD(U) leaders and bureaucrats and they were calling shots in his name, he pointed out.
" As the leader of the opposition in the state assembly, I had written two letters to Chief Minister regarding demands of BPSC aspirants but no reply was given either by CM or any other official, on his behalf ", the RJD leader said adding that no one was there to meet agitating BPSC aspirants and hear their grievances. Even the BPSC Chairman was not prepared to meet agitating candidates demanding re-examination, earlier held on December 13, he further added.
Yadav said his party was the first to raise the demand of BPSC aspirants in the state assembly during its winter session. Issue of normalisation was also raised by him and he had written a letter to Chief Minister Kumar in this connection, he added.
" I was first to meet agitating BPSC aspirants in Gardanibagh locality of Patna, no one was in action then but now there are a number of elements trying to portray themselves as sympathiser of aspirants ", the RJD leader said adding that he could have filled entire Gandhi Maidan in Patna if wished so, he claimed. Agitating aspirants had requested no political colour of the issue, he stated.
" Actor is now in action while his producer and director are behind the curtain ", Yadav said adding that a vanity van was also used at the venue, which meant shooting was going on at full speed, a reference to " Jan Suraaj " founder Prashant Kishor who had used luxurious vanity van as washroom during the dharna.
