Bhopal, Nov 23 (Reporter) Madhya Pradesh Congress Chief Jitu Patwari on Saturday described the victory in the by-election to Vijaypur assembly constituency as the victory of the Congress workers. Immediately after the defeat of state Forest Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ram Niwas and the victory of Congress candidate Mukesh Malhotra in Vijaypur, Patwari expressed his happiness through a post on social media X. Patwari has written, "The victory of Vijaypur is the victory of Congress workers only! The workers endured all kinds of torture! Withstand police batons and cases! Still persevered! The entire machinery including the Collector, SP, Tehsildar, Thanedar was also against the Congress! BJP-backed goons, dacoits and mafias were contesting the elections, yet Congress workers told how great the power of truth is! Police and administration did the work of BJP workers! False cases were filed against Congress people, innocents were sent to jail unnecessarily! More than 50 crore rupees were distributed to lure voters! Even after that, Babbar Sher activists have put this victory in the Congress's bag. I bow before each and every Congress worker! I give credit for this victory to Baba Saheb Ambedkar's Constitution and Congress workers." Patowary's post was reposted by former state Minister and senior party MLA Jaivardhan Singh. Singh was entrusted with the important responsibility of the party in this assembly by-election and he was also in the role of strategist in this by-election. He has also expressed happiness over this victory...////...
