Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the 500th Jayanti of Veerangana Rani Durgavati is a day to honor valour, sacrifice, women empowerment and respect. Rani Durgavati embodied indomitable courage and bravery. During her reign, no Mughal, Pathan, Sultan or invader dared to challenge Gondwana. She defended her kingdom until her last breath, sacrificing her life for its protection. The Chief Minister said that to commemorate her legacy, a significant decision was made to hold a Cabinet meeting in Singhrampur to mark a new chapter of development in tribal areas. He expressed joy that today, from the first capital of Veerangana Rani Durgavati, ₹1934 crore 71 lakh was transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana, Social Security Pension, and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Gas Scheme with a single click. Additionally, the Ayushman Card Scheme was launched for senior citizens over 70 years of age, and development projects worth ₹5 crore 47 lakh were inaugurated and dedicated for the region's progress.
