Use AI to take classic Marathi literature to next generation: Maha CM

Pune, Jan 31 (Reporter) In era of today's artificial intelligence, the Marathi language department should take the initiative to create a 'small language model' like Chat-GPT in order to bring our classical literature in Marathi to the next generation, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday. Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the third World Marathi Literature conference here, he said, "It is really a matter of great joy for all of us that this is the home of Marathi and the first meeting in Pune after Marathi got the status of classical language." He also expressed his joy about the All India Literary Conference will be held in Delhi next month for the first time after the creation of Maharashtra. Fadnavis expressed that it is a pleasure to present the first Sahitya Bhushan Award of this conference to Padmashri Mangesh Karnik, a creative writer who started producing literature at the age of four and is still producing all kinds of literature at the age of 93.
