Amethi (UP), Sep 28 (Reporter) Two youths were run over by a train while they were taking a stroll on the railway tractor with earphones in their ears in Gauriganj area of Amethi district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police sources said here. Police said that Rohit (24), a resident of Lakhimpur district, and Pramod Yadav (28), a resident of Sitapur district were working as welders. "On Saturday morning both the youths were taking a stroll on the Pratapgarh-Lucknow section with earphones in their ears," they said. Police said as their earphones were on the youths could not hear the sound of the train and were run over by Pratapgarh-Kanpur Intercity Express were killed on the spot.
