Sultanpur (UP), Aug 18 (Reporter) Two persons involved in murder of an Executive Engineer of Jal Nigam were arrested in an encounter with the police in Sultanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Sunday. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Arun Kumar said that executive engineer of Jal Nigam Santosh Kumar was killed at his rented house on Friday night. He said that two persons, including an Assistant Engineer, of his department were accused of the murder. He said that four teams were constituted to arrest the accused. "On Saturday night acting on a tip off the police cordoned off the area from where the accused were attempting to flee Bihar. After seeing the police team the accused opened fire," he said. The ASP said that in retaliatory firing accused Amit Kumar, who is AE, and his accomplice Pradeep Kumar sustained bullet injuries in their legs. "The accused have been admitted to the hospital," he said. It may be noted that the body of Jal Nigam's Executive Engineer Santosh Kumar was found in his rented house in Vinoba Puri on Saturday morning...////...
