Mau (UP), Oct 11 (Reporter) Three persons were killed and five others were injured when an SUV collided with a stationary truck in Haldhar area of Mau district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said here. Police sources said that eight persons had gone to visit Sidhpeeth Hathiyaram Math in Ghazipur district from Gothai Balua village under Nagara police station of Ballia district on Thursday evening. "After finishing the religious programme, they were returning on Friday morning. Near a petrol pump in Ratanpura, the SUV went out of control and collided with the stationary truck," they said. Police sources said that the injured were immediately sent to the community health centre Ratanpura through an ambulance. "While three persons died on the spot, five were injured. The injured are being treated at the Sadar Hospital," they said. Police sources said that the deceased include Parvati (58), Radhika (58) and Yashi (2).
