Sonbhadra (UP), June 30 (Reporter) A Sub-Inspector (SI) was killed when his car was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Wyndhamganj area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Sunday. Police sources said that Umesh Rai, a resident of Bhanwarkol in Ghazipur district, was posted at Wyndhamganj police station. "On Saturday night Rai left for Police Lines in Churk from the police station," they said. Police sources said that as his car reached Sauder village an unidentified vehicle hit his car killing Rai on the spot. "After getting the information, Circle Officer (CO) Duddhi Pradeep Singh Chandel and Inspector Manoj Kumar Singh reached the spot.
