Amethi (Uttar Pradesh), Apr 30 (Reporter) Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday inaugurated the Open Heart Surgery Unit at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and also inspected the Gun Factory at Munshiganj. Rahul inspected Indo Russian Rifle Private Limited in Amethi after which his convoy reached Sanjay Gandhi Hospital at Munshiganj where he inaugurated the Open Heart Surgery Unit. During this, he inaugurated an ambulance service and handed it over to the general public. He also inspected the Indira Gandhi Institute. After this, his convoy left for the airport. Objectionable posters were put up in Amethi before the Rae Bareli MP's arrival. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers staged a protest when he reached here. It may be noted that the former Congress President reached his Parliamentary constituency Rae Bareli on Tuesday on a two-day visit.
