Hardoi (UP), Jan 4 (Reporter) A man was killed, and another one was injured in an explosion in a junk shop in Bilgram Kotwali area of Hardoi district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police sources said here. Police sources said that the incident took place in the morning when the people heard the sound of an explosion in a junk shop located near Gulab Bari Chungi in Bilgram Kotwali area. "When people reached the spot, the owner of the junk shop Azim (40) and Gufran (22) were lying injured," they said. Police sources said that the shopkeepers took the injured to the health centre for treatment where the doctors declared Azim dead while Gufran is undergoing treatment. Police sources said that it is being said that the incident took place when Azim was extracting wire from an old electric motor.
