Lucknow, July 30 (Reporter) The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday presented a supplementary budget of Rs 12,909.93 crore in the state Assembly.
While presenting the supplementary budget, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the size of the supplementary budget was 1.66 percent of the original Budget.
In the supplementary budget, a provision of Rs 7,500 crore has been made for industrial development, while it is proposed to allocate Rs 2,000 crore to the energy department.
An arrangement of Rs 1,000 crore has been made for equipping the transport department with modern technology and increasing the number of e-buses.
Apart from this, a supplementary grant of Rs 600 crore has been proposed to the Urban Development Department, Rs 200 crore for skill development under Skill Mission, Rs 100 crore for rural stadium open gyms, Rs 28.40 crore to the Secondary Education Department for labs in 284 government inter colleges, Rs 66.82 crore for computer labs in 1,044 government secondary schools.
The Finance Minister said the revenue account expenditure is Rs 4,227.94 crore and the capital account expenditure is Rs 7,981.99 crore...////...
