UP: Farmer shot dead by masked men in Amroha

Amroha, Jan 10 (Reporter) A 30-year-old farmer was shot dead by unidentified miscreants in a crowded place in Dhanaura area of Amroha district here in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, police sources said here. Police sources said that the incident took place around 9 am when three masked men opened fire on Ravindra Yadav alis Kalua, a resident of Malesia village, in crowded Kuan Khera market inside a hair cutting salon. "When the injured Ravindra attempted to escape the assailants chased him and shot him dead," they said. Police sources said that the assailants escaped from the spot after executing the crime. "Agitated by the incident the farmers blocked Badaun-Panipat state highway resulting in traffic jams on both the sides of the highway," they said.
