Lucknow, Jan 6 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on the historic achievement of its only solar mission Aditya-L1 spacecraft reaching Sun-Earth Lagrange Point 1 (L1). In a post on his official X handle, Yogi wrote, "Congratulations to Team ISRO on this important achievement of AdityaL1, India's first solar observatory, reaching its destination. Their dedication and expertise will undoubtedly uncover important solar insights." He said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment towards scientific progress has inspired India's space exploration efforts and our country is touching new heights on the global stage." It may be noted that ISRO's Aditya-L1 spacecraft will fly 15 lakh kilometers in 126 days. After covering a distance of 3.7 million KM, Aditya-L1 reached Lagrange Point 1 (L1) on Saturday. L1 is a place in space where the gravitational forces of Earth and Sun are balanced. Aditya will reach L1 on September 2 at 11.50 AM.
