Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel emphasized that universities should aim for high quality in their systems. He highlighted that the National Education Policy grants universities sufficient autonomy to achieve their objectives. He also urged Vice Chancellors to identify development opportunities based on their capabilities, the university’s resources, and the surrounding environment. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that universities should expand beyond their traditional scope in line with the National Education Policy. He called for the creation of an action plan that addresses current demands and future possibilities. He instructed the Higher Education Department officials to establish a task force and ensure the preparation of action plans for all universities within a set timeframe.
