Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Department of Science and Technology plays an important role in delivering citizen-centric services across Madhya Pradesh. He directed the preparation of a Unified Portal System that will consolidate services of various departments, making them accessible at a single platform. The portal will integrate 1,700 services from different departments to ensure seamless access for the public. To increase public awareness about the work of the Science and Technology Department, ground-level implementation must be ensured, and hoardings should be installed to disseminate information about government programs and campaigns. CM Dr. Yadav gave these directives during a review meeting of the Science and Technology Department at the Chief Minister’s residence (Samatva Bhavan) on Friday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that for the effective execution of technical operations during Simhastha-2028 in Ujjain, cutting-edge technology should be employed. He directed the MPSEDC to develop the necessary software/app and instructed the Urban Development and Housing Department to assist in this endeavor.
