In the most gripping encounter of the day, Scotland chased down a modest target of 73 against Nepal but not without a scare. Meanwhile, South Africa made short work of Samoa, dismissing them for a paltry 16 runs, and England displayed their dominance by comfortably defeating Pakistan. Electing to bat, Nepal faltered under pressure from Scotland's disciplined bowling attack, collapsing to 73 all out in 18.5 overs.
