Benoni, Feb 11 (Reporter) Australia won the toss and decided to bat first against India in the final of the ICC Men's U19 World Cup at Willowmoore Park here on Sunday. India, the defending champions, are eyeing for their sixth title in their ninth final, while Australia are attempting to etch a World Cup double, following their senior team's victory over India last year in Ahmedabad. Australia last beat India in the U19 World Cup in 2018. India have won all six matches since then, including twice in the finals in 2012 and 2018. India reached the final by defeating Bangladesh, Ireland, the USA, New Zealand, Nepal and hosts South Africa. Australia, who are also unconquered, notched up wins against Namibia, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, England and Pakistan. The match against the West Indies was washed out. India struck early as Raj Limbani bowled a cracker to Sam Konstas to clean him up. Although the batsman realised the ball was coming back in he instead of trying to defend looked to work on the leg side and missed it. Naman Tiwari from the other end has been expensive as he gave away 15 runs in his only over so far. After 9 overs, Australia are 42/1. India: Adarsh Singh, Arshin Kulkarni, Musheer Khan, Uday Saharan (c), Priyanshu Moliya, Sachin Dhas, Aravelly Avanish (wk), Murugan Abhishek, Naman Tiwari, Raj Limbani, Saumy Pandey. Australia: Harry Dixon, Sam Konstas, Hugh Weibgen (c), Harjas Singh, Ryan Hicks (wk), Oliver Peake, Charlie Anderson, Raf MacMillan, Tom Straker, Mahli Beardman, Callum Vidler...////...
