Two terror associates arrested with arms in Shopian

Srinagar, May 29 (Reporter) Security forces arrested two militant associates in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said on Thursday. They said the two were arrested by a joint team of forces during a cordon and a search operation which was launched in the Baskuchan area following an input about a militant movement. The two were identified as Irfan Bashir and Uzair Salam “Arms and ammunition including two AK rifles were recovered from their possession,” an official said, adding that the two were being questioned for further leads.
