Muzaffarnagar (UP), Aug 22 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said that the state government will provide government jobs to two lakh youth in the next two years.
During district level mega employment and loan fair organised at BIT College here, the CM said that earlier when jobs were available, the youth of western UP were deprived of them, but today the youth and daughters here are getting jobs.
He said that from Friday the process of recruitment for more than 60,000 jobs of policemen is starting in the state. He said that the youth here will have to participate enthusiastically in the government jobs coming out in the state.
Yogi said, "No one will be able to question the qualifications of the youth. If anyone tries to play with the future of the youth, then along with sending him to jail, his properties will be confiscated and distributed among the poor."
During the event appointment letters were handed over to more than 5,000 youth. Along with this, a loan of 30 crore was distributed among the eligible persons and MSME entrepreneurs selected in various schemes.
Tablets were also distributed to more than a thousand students under the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana. He said that employment fairs will be organised every three months in the districts of the state.
Paying tributes to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh the CM said that Muzaffarnagar is getting the gift of projects worth hundreds of crores of rupees. The Meerapur assembly constituency is going to get the most benefit from this.
He said that Muzaffarnagar is the same place, which used to burn in the fire of riots 10 years ago. "Today it has become riot-free and Kanwar Yatra is held here with great pomp," he said.
Yogi said that the new identity of this place is being made in the form of development, security, work for the youth, government jobs.
He assured that the state government is going to expand the Mawana sugar mill. "For this, the government is moving forward by making a concrete action plan," he said.
He said that very few areas get the privilege of being connected to mythological sites. "Here, the work of connecting Shuktirtha with the stream of Maa Ganga has been done. Today, the sweetness of the jaggery here is spreading all over the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has become a world power," he said.
While targeting the opposition, Yogi said that those people should be asked what happened to their bond, in which one lakh rupees was filled to give. Regarding the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav, he said that his people rape the daughters of the state and he stands with the rapists.
He said that earlier no one wanted to come to UP. "People used to run away from here, there was migration from Kairana. Today industries are not running away from here, but large scale investment is being made, he said.
The CM said that airports are being built in Saharanpur and Jewar. "The highway network is being strengthened. This is an attempt to give a better future to the present," he said.
He said that some people are working to divide. "They are working to throw the country into the fire of riots again. But we should not give any rioter an opportunity to raise his head. Those who want to spread anarchy by dividing in the name of caste. Those who stand with rapists when there is a threat to the safety of their daughters," he said.
