Pudukottai (Tamil Nadu), Sep 20 (Reporter) Two persons were killed and two others, including a woman Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) injured, after a speeding motorcycle collided with the Jeep at Namanasamudram village on the Karaikudi-Tiruchirapalli highway here on Friday. Police said the two unidentified persons riding a motorcycle attempted to overtake a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus and collided with the jeep coming in the opposite direction. Both of them were thrown off the motorcycle due to the impact of the collision and died on the spot. The Pudukottai RDO Aishwarya, travelling in the Jeep, was proceeding to Tirumayam for official work, when the accident occurred. The injured RDO and jeep driver Kamaraj were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Namanasamudram police have registered a case and are investigating...////...
