Srinagar, Mar 16 (Reporter) Peoples Democratic Party got a boost on Sunday after two of its former leaders rejoined the party. Two former legislators Mansoor Hussain Suharwardy and Yasir Reshi rejoined the PDP. in the presence of Party President Mehbooba Mufti at the Party headquarters “In a significant development former MLA Suharwardy and MLC Reshi who had earlier left returned to the PDP today in presence of Mehbooba Mufti at party headquarters in Srinagar”, PDP posted on X. “The joining of the two leaders will further strengthen the PDP”, it said. Suharwardy, a founding member of PDP resigned from the primary membership of the party in February 2021 on political and personal reasons. Rishi also quit the party in March 2021. Both had earlier joined the People's Conference led by Sajad Gani Lone in 2021.
