Sambhal, Apr 21 (Reporter) Two children were killed and eight others injured when a van in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary dumper in Chandausi area of Sambhal district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Police sources said that some families from Moradabad district and Rampur district had come to attend a wedding in Patroa village under Chandausi police station in the van. "All the people were returning after attending the wedding this morning when the van rammed into the stationary dumper parked on the roadside while overtaking at Gumthal intersection on Moradabad- Agra Highway," they said. The sources said that while Ayansh (4) and Akshit (3) died, Pappu, Aryans, Reena, Amrita, Shivansh, Renu, Rishik and the driver of the van, Rishipal, were injured in the incident.
