Washington, Dec 11 (Reporter) US President-elect Donald Trump took a swipe at outgoing President Joe Biden, asserting that his funding of Kiev is tantamount to embezzling US taxpayer money. In a picture posted to Truth Social on Tuesday, Trump explained "how Bidenomics works." "Bidenomics ... 1. You pay taxes. 2. I [Biden] send it to Ukraine. 3. They send it back to Hunter [Biden’s son]. 4. Hunter gives it to me. 5. Pardon Hunter," the picture read. On December 1, Biden signed an executive order pardoning his son Hunter, saying the decision was driven by his belief in the injustice of the prosecution. President-elect Donald Trump criticized the pardon, calling it an "abuse and miscarriage of justice." US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk ironically pointed out that Biden's pardon coincided with the period of Hunter's work at Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges and was found guilty of being an illegal drug user in possession of a firearm, becoming the first child of a sitting president to face criminal charges. He was charged with two counts of willful tax evasion for failing to pay more than $100,000 in taxes in 2017 and 2018 and separately with possessing a Colt pistol in 2018 while he was using illegal drugs, which also violates the law and carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
