Amaravati, Apr 20 (Reporter) The north-south trough now runs from northeast Madhya Pradesh to Gulf of Mannar across Vidarbha, Telangana, Interior Karnataka & Tamil Nadu at 0.9 km above mean sea level, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday. In a daily weather report here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the next 24 hours. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days. Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are likely to occur at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days. Maximum temperatures are gradually rising by 2-3 degrees Celsius in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days. Rainfall occurred at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
