Amaravati, Apr 18 (Reporter) The trough from the Gulf of Mannar to south Telangana now runs from the Comorin area to south Telangana across Interior Tamil Nadu & Rayalaseema at 0.9 km above mean sea level, the Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 30–40 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema on April 20, 21 and 22.
Hot, humid, and uncomfortable weather is likely to prevail at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the same period.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh from April 19 to 22.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in south-coast Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours and on April 23 and 24.
Rainfall occurred at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, and dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema and Yanam during the last 24 hours.
