Agartala, Feb 20 (Reporter) Based on the High Court direction, Tripura police launched an investigation against a police inspector, now posted at West Agartala Police Station, Paritosh Das, and a civil police volunteer, Dilwar Hossain, in connection with looting cash from a family in Nov 2023. Thereafter, Ershad moved to the High Court, where police were directed to register an FIR and start an investigation while the complainant was advised to lodge a criminal complaint in the local court if the police didn’t act properly.
