Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that maximum development opportunities should be provided to the tribal community. He said that Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas is the basis of an inclusive society. Governor Shri Patel was reviewing the schemes run by the Higher Education Department for tribal students at Raj Bhavan today. Governor Shri Patel said that tribal development and welfare efforts should be implemented with a motivational approach. Being the state with the highest tribal population in the country, it is the responsibility of the state to ensure that the work of tribal development and welfare is carried out in an ideal manner. He said that the provisions of post-matric and Ph.D. scholarships need to be made as per the schemes of the Central Government.
