Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Environment Day, has evolved into a nationwide movement. The state aims to plant 5.51 crore saplings, fostering social consciousness towards environmental protection. Dr. Yadav highlighted that the Madhya Pradesh Police's plantation efforts reflects their commitment towards environment conservation. It is heartening to see police personnel and their families embracing tree plantation as their shared responsibility. Dr. Yadav also commended the police for their effective anti-Naxal operations and their role in maintaining law and order across the state and assuring them of the government's support. He made these remarks at the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" event held at the 25th Battalion in Bhopal.
