Transportation Services in the State to be Further Improved: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced plans to strengthen the rural, urban, and intercity transportation systems in the state. To achieve this, the Mukhyamantri Sugam Transport Service will be introduced. The proposal for this scheme has already been prepared, and after extensive discussions, suggestions, and consensus, it will soon be presented for approval in the Cabinet meeting.

Dr. Yadav made these remarks while addressing a high-level meeting at Samrat Bhavan, the Chief Minister’s residence, regarding the initial discussions on the new transport service.

He emphasized that the transportation services in the state will be enhanced, especially in rural and tribal areas, ensuring smooth passenger transit. The government will make all necessary efforts to facilitate convenient travel in these regions.

The meeting was attended virtually by Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Patel, Urban Development and Administration Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, and Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain. School Education and Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, Additional Chief Secretary (CMO) Dr. Rajesh Rajora, Additional Chief Secretary (Urban Development & Administration) Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla, Transport Secretary Shri Manish Singh, CM’s Secretary Shri Sibi Chakravarti, and Director of Public Relations Shri Anshul Gupta, along with other officials also attended the meeting.
