Shimla, Feb 25(Reporter) Tourist resort Manali in Kullu district draped into white blanket of snowfall as four centimetres snowfall recorded in past 24 hrs. According to Meteorological department tourist resort had four cm snowfall, Kalpa 3.5 cm, Sangla 3.2, Khadrala 2, Sarahan 1.0, Gondla 0.1 cm. Manali also recorded 18 mm rain Chamba 3.5 mm, Seobagh three mm Dalhousie and Pandoh 1 mm and Sundernagar 0.8. Tourist resort Kufri and Shimla had traces of snowfall and it was partly cloudy. The coldwave persists in the state as Kukamseri was coldest the state recorded around minus 14 degrees Keylong minus 11.7, Kalpa minus 7.4 , Narkanda minus four , Kufri minis 2.6, Dalhousie minus 2.5, Reckong-peo (Kinnaur) minus 2.4, Manali minus 2.2, Shimla 0.2,, Solan 0.6, Jubberhati and Bhuntar airport two, Una 2.6, Chamba 2.8, Bilaspur and Mandi 3.5, Dharmshala five and Nahan ( Sirmour ) 7.4. The Met Office forecast rain, thunderstorms, lightening and snowfall on the high reaches in few places. Temperatures are expected to remain below normal.
