Ludhiana, May 22 (Reporter) Two women from Indore were killed and around 15 passengers injured when their tourist bus rammed into a parked trolley in Ludhiana on Wednesday morning, police said. According to police, there were about 50 passengers in the bus. These people, residents of Indore (Madhya Pradesh), were on a pilgrimage and after visiting Kedar Nath, there were on their way to Amritsar from Haridwar. Around 0500 hrs in the morning, the bus was near Chehal village in Ludhiana, when the bus driver, apparently sleepy, lost control of the vehicle. The front portion of bus was damaged badly due to the impact of the collision. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospital, police added.
