Chennai, May 20 (Reporter) The toll in yesterday's asphyxiation incident in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu rose to three on Tuesday, with the death of one more person in the hospital. Police sources one of the two who fell unconscious while cleaning the dyeing unit tank succumbed at the hospital. With this the toll in the incident rose to three after two people died yesterday after they inhaled poisonous gas when they entered into a tank in the dyeing unit to clean it. The other person was under treatment. Police sources said the four workers entered into the tank to clean it when they inhaled toxic gas and fell unconscious. As there was no response them from, locals alerted the police and fire service personnel, who rescued them and admitted to a hospital, where two of them were declared brought dead.
