Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav discussed with senior officials the plan to make Kshipra River pollution-free under the proposed action plan for Simhastha 2028 in a meeting at Samatva Bhawan Chief Minister's residence. In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav apprised himself on several projects: the diversion of the Kanh River, the construction of 11 barrages on the Kanh River, the continuous water flow scheme for the Kshipra River in preparation for Simhastha, the construction of 18 proposed barrages on the Kshipra River, and the development of bathing ghats along the Kshipra River. Dr. Yadav emphasized that all work should be completed within the set deadlines, ensuring high quality. Additionally, he stressed that ongoing construction should not inconvenience local residents.
