Three women cricketers from Madhya Pradesh, who were part of Indian team that won the final of the Blind Women's T20 Cricket World Cup 2025, met Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at Samatva Bhavan, the Chief Minister's residence. The players include Sushri Sunita Sarathe, Sushri Sushma Patel, and Sushri Durga Yewale. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that for this achievement, all three players will receive an incentive of ₹25 lakh each, consisting of ₹10 lakh in cash and ₹15 lakh each in the form of fixed deposits. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored the three players and coaches by presenting them with trophies and angavastrams. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the state government will also provide for further education and coaching of three players who have brought glory to the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced an incentive of ₹1 lakh each to the women's coaches, namely, Sonu Golkar, Omprakash Pal, and Deepak Pahade. It is noteworthy that the Indian Women's Blind Cricket Team achieved a historic victory by defeating Nepal in the final match of the Women's T20 World Cup Cricket 2025. The Women's Blind Cricket Team included the three talented players from Madhya Pradesh mentioned above. Among them, Sushri Sunita Sarathe, playing in the all-rounder category, is from Narmadapuram, Sushri Sushma Patel is from Damoh and Sushri Durga Yewale, playing as a batsman and wicketkeeper, is from Betul.
