Moradabad (UP), Sep 2 (Reporter) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched a scathing attack on Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) and said that these parties have torn apart the social fabric of both the country and the state by exploiting caste, opinion, and religion for petty political ends. While addressing a district-level mega employment and loan fair at Aryabhatta International School, the CM urged the public to remain vigilant against divisive forces, stating that before 2017 those who divided society along caste lines would often bow and submit to rioters. During the event, 100 companies offered over 15,000 job opportunities to the youth of Moradabad. Besides, Yogi distributed loans totalling Rs 175.50 crore and tablets to 2,500 youth. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation for 292 development projects worth Rs 401 crore. Yogi highlighted the significant strides Uttar Pradesh has made in development over the past seven and a half years. He said that the state's credit-deposit ratio, which was 44 percent before 2017, has now risen to 60 percent, with a goal to reach 65 percent. He emphasised that UP has become a key driver of national development and that Moradabad is emerging as a crucial growth engine within the state. Highlighting the achievements of the double-engine government, the CM said that over 1,60,000 police personnel have been recruited, with 20 percent of these positions filled by women. He said that the recent police recruitment process for more than 60,200 posts has been completed and plans are underway to issue recruitment notices for an additional 40,000 posts once appointment letters are distributed. Yogi also outlined plans for the future and said that within the next two years two lakh youths will secure government jobs. He emphasised that investments in the state will create employment opportunities for one crore people. Describing UP as the second-largest economy in the country, he projected that in the next 3 to 4 years, the state will surpass others to become the leading economy in India. He assured that this economic growth will significantly boost per capita income, potentially increasing it three to four times. The CM said that before 2017, when government jobs were available in UP, the 'chacha-bhatija' duo would engage in extortion. "The uncle-nephew pair was involved in such mischief that the courts had to intervene and halt job appointments. Government jobs fell victim to their extortion, leaving youth unemployed and forcing many to migrate to other states in search of employment," he said. He said that today, law and order in UP have strengthened. "The success of the double-engine government's zero-tolerance policy toward corruption and crime has significantly enhanced UP's reputation across the country," he said. Yogi highlighted improvements in safety and respect for businessmen and said that traders are now provided with life insurance coverage of Rs 10 lakh. Additionally, job opportunities have been created for the state's youth. He asserted that a government with vision can fulfil the dreams of its people and with determination, even seemingly impossible goals can be achieved. The CM highlighted that among the projects inaugurated and laid the foundation for during the program, 156 are dedicated to the Kundarki Assembly. He praised Moradabad for aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision by enhancing air connectivity...////...
