Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the world today needs to follow the teachings of Buddha, not war. He emphasized that Lord Buddha's path is the path to world peace. This path leads us to inner peace, compassion, love, harmony, and universal brotherhood. Stressing the importance of adopting Buddha's ideas and teachings, the Chief Minister said that his message is the most powerful means to bring peace and harmony to the world. Dr. Yadav was addressing the 9th International Buddhist Festival held on Sunday at Chuna Bhatti, Bhopal. On this occasion, he presented the "International Buddha Peace Award" to selected dignitaries and also released a commemorative publication based on the festival. Praising the organizers, the Chief Minister remarked that such religious festivals help spread the message of brotherhood and social harmony in society. The festival saw participation from Buddhist scholars and followers from India and abroad. The primary objective of the program was to promote Buddhist philosophy and the establishment of world peace through it.
