Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the lives and ideals of saints are always exemplary. Just as the sun burns itself to illuminate the world, saints also endure personal austerities to enlighten others with knowledge and joy. Saint Kanwarram Ji was one such great saint. The Chief Minister expressed these views during the statue unveiling ceremony of Saint Kanwarram Ji at the public park in Alakhdham Nagar, Sindhi Colony, Ujjain, on Monday.
On this occasion, Dr. Yadav also distributed certificates from the Golden Book of World Records for a notable initiative by Samarth Seva Sansthan, which facilitated free air travel for differently-abled individuals, earning international recognition.
Dr. Yadav noted that the day was particularly auspicious as it coincided with Vaishakh Purnima, also celebrated as Buddha Purnima. He highlighted that Saint Kanwarram Ji inspired people to walk the path of truth and morality and believed in collective progress. He said that the installation of his statue in the park will serve as a source of blessings for all.
The Chief Minister instructed municipal officers to ensure the regular maintenance of the park and announced state support to develop the Alakhdham Nagar park into a model garden.
Dr. Yadav reiterated that serving the differently-abled is akin to serving God. He appreciated the remarkable work of Samarth Seva Sansthan, which has so far organised free religious air travel for 47 differently-abled individuals. He extended his best wishes to the office-bearers of the organization.
