Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the spiritual and cultural significance of cow rearing, stating that 33 crore Gods and Goddesses reside in Gaumata. He explained, "The one who rears cattle is Gopal, and a home where a herd of cattle is raised is a Gokul." He urged every individual and family to adopt cow rearing as a part of their household practices. Dr. Yadav highlighted the need to promote cow rearing without discrimination based on religion, language, caste, or region. He pointed out that traditionally, people of all religions and castes in India have been involved in cow rearing, symbolizing the nation’s social harmony. The Chief Minister was addressing the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for a hi-tech cowshed with a capacity for 10,000 cows in Barkhedi Dob village, Bhopal. The cowshed, spread over 25 acres, will be constructed at a cost of ₹15 crore. During his visit to the site, Dr. Yadav inspected the cowshed, offered food to the cattle, and participated in the Bhoomi-Pujan.
