Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel stated that the foundation day of states is not just a celebration, but a moment of renewed commitment to building a new India. He emphasized that the occasion symbolizes a collective resolution to contribute, with trust, support, and shared efforts, toward the development and prosperity of the nation. He added that every state of undivided India is a proud son of Mother India, each having enriched the nation’s dignity through the preservation and promotion of its unique heritage, culture, and traditions. Governor Patel called upon every citizen to pledge their contribution in passing on India’s glorious spiritual consciousness and cultural legacy to future generations, thereby strengthening the vision of "Ek Bharat- Shreshth Bharat."

Governor Shri Patel was addressing the joint celebration of the foundation day of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Himachal Pradesh, held at the Sandipani Auditorium in Raj Bhavan. The event was attended by Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor Shri K.C. Gupta, and residents of all three states currently living in Madhya Pradesh. As part of the celebration, Governor Patel was honored by representatives of the three states in accordance with their respective cultural traditions.The program also witnessed the presence of Gujarat Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat, Himachal Pradesh Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, and Maharashtra Governor Shri C.P. Singh. A video message from Shri Radhakrishnan was also screened during the event.
