Etawah (UP), Apr 20 (Reporter) Samajwadi Party (SP) Lok Sabha MP from Mainpuri Dimple Yadav on Sunday said that the tendency of giving statements against the Supreme Court and the Chief Justice of India (CJI) should be curbed.
While talking to the reporters in Saifai, Dimple said that the SC in the country should be respected. "Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not respecting the democratic values of the country. "BJP leaders do not respect the Constitution, while SP strongly opposes their comments," she said.
She said that the statements of leaders like BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, Dinesh Sharma regarding the SC and the CJI are intolerable. "BJP may have distanced itself from the statements of its leaders, but this should be curbed," she said.
The SP MP said that the SC is not being respected. "What kind of system do you want to impose on the country? This is raising many questions. The BJP leaders want to bring themselves into the limelight with such comments," she alleged.
She said that the BJP has no answer to the issues related to the public. "No BJP leader will answer on unemployment and the condition of women," she said.
Dimple said that the BJP may have distanced itself from the statements of its leaders, but this should be curbed.
On BJP leaders raising questions over the SC after its direction on the Waqf Board Amendment Bill, she said that the BJP does not want a democratic system to remain in the country. "The statements of their leaders show that they do not respect democratic values and do not respect the Constitution. SP is against their comments," she said.
She said that we have to understand that the BJP, which is in power in the country and many states today, has no answer to the basic issues related to the public. "If someone asks them how much unemployment there is, what is the condition of women, then they will not answer it, but by making such comments, who knows in which direction they want to take this country?" she said...////...
