Ten people injured by lightning strikes in Germany’s Dresden

Berlin, May 21 (Reporter) Ten people were injured, four of them seriously, as a result of lightning strikes in the eastern German city of Dresden, German media reported. One of the incidents occurred in the popular recreation area of Rosengarten, where people were hiding from the storm under a restaurant canopy, the Bild newspaper reported on Monday, adding that lightning struck the metal support of the canopy, causing damage to people under it.
