Hyderabad, Feb 28 (Reporter) Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will visit Telangana on March 2. During his short visit, Dhankhar will visit IIT Hyderabad, where he will interact with the faculty, staff and students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad, an official release said here on Friday. He will also attend a private programme in the city and leave for New Delhi on the same day. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, who held a meeting with senior officials and reviewed the arrangements being made for the visit of the Vice President, directed the officials to work in close coordination between all the departments so as to ensure that there is no communication gap and arrangements are made in a befitting manner. She told the Police department to make adequate security arrangements, law and order and bandobust arrangements. The R&B department was advised to coordinate with the Police department and make necessary arrangements. The health department was told to make available the services of qualified Doctors and other paraphernalia. Similarly, the Energy department was told to ensure uninterrupted power supply at all the places of the visit of the dignitary.
