Hyderabad, Oct 8 (Reporter) Telangana police busted a fake educational certificate racket being run from a Xerox center in Amberpet and arrested two individuals. Based on credible information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, along with Amberpet Police, raided the Xerox center named 'MS Enterprises' at Owaisi Nagar, Amberpet. During the raid, the police apprehended Mohammed Mahfooz Iqbal (41) of Moula Ali, Malakajgiri, and Shaik Ilyas Ahmed (34) of Amberpet, who were preparing and selling fake educational certificates, including those for Senior School Certificate, Intermediate, and Degree courses, in exchange for large sums of money, a police statement said on Tuesday. The police seized 84 fake certificates, four blank certificates, 14 judicial stamp papers, 40 empty A4-size papers meant for printing certificates, a CPU, a monitor, a printer, and two mobile phones from their possession. Mahfooz Iqbal, who runs 'MS Enterprises', was struggling to run his business, when he along with his friend Ilyas Ahmed, devised a plan to create fake educational certificates for financial gain. Mahfooz Iqbal, who is skilled in Photoshop, would prepare the fake certificates by altering names, roll numbers, marks, percentages, and other details to make them appear authentic. Ilyas Ahmed acted as an agent, bringing candidates in need of these fake documents. The arrested individuals and the seized items were handed over to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Amberpet Police Station for further investigation and legal action...////...
