Hyderabad, May 27 (Reporter) BRS leader and former MLA from Wyira constituency, Banothu Madan Lal, passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital in Gachibowli following a heart attack. He was 62. Madan Lal began his political journey in 2009 and won the Wyira Assembly seat in 2014 on a YSRCP ticket before joining the BRS. He contested from BRS in the 2018 and 2023 Assembly elections and was currently serving as the party’s in-charge for the Wyira constituency. Born on May 3, 1963, in Irlapudi village, Khammam district, Madan Lal holds a BA degree from Osmania University. He was known for his dedication to public service, particularly for the welfare of tribals and the underprivileged. Through Twitter (X), Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed shock over the death of Banothu Madan Lal, former MLA of the Wyra constituency in Khammam district. He prayed for Madan Lal’s soul to rest in peace and extended his condolences to the bereaved family. BRS chief and former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and working president KT Rama Rao also expressed deep sorrow, calling Madan Lal’s passing a major loss to the party and the marginalised communities he represented...////...
